As one of Europe´s leading Registrars, Ascio participates actively in the discussions on the hot topics in the Domain Industry and is involved in a number of Registrars Associations around the world. Among other things, we are an active member of the ICANN Registrar Constituency, the .SE Registrars Association and the Italian AssoTLD.
Our Registry Relations Manager Francesco Cetraro regularly attends the most important industry events, and he is always very happy to meet with the Ascio Partners that are attending such meetings for a chat.

On October 11th and 12th  Ascio will be present at the ICANN Studienkreis meeting (http://www.icann-studienkreis.net/) in Warsaw (PL), an important discussion forum on the most interesting themes of the domain industry and internet governance.

On the 22nd of October Francesco Cetraro and Kristina Kunz will present Ascio at the lunch meeting organized by Eurid for its registrars in Copenhagen.

In the last week of october Francesco will then be in Los Angeles to attend the ICANN 30th public Meeting (http://losangeles2007.icann.org/) together with Account Manager Richard Magnus Jacobsen.

The LA meeting will be an important turnpoint, as a lot of hot ongoing discussions will be concluded at this meeting with interesting implications on the future policy making process.
ICANN has recently published a newsletter called "San Juan to Los Angeles" (http://www.icann.org/meetings/san-juan-los-angeles-200709.html) that sums up the status of the debate on Domain Tasting, IDNs, new gTLDs, WHOIS and privacy, Registrar Accreditation Agreement and much more.
