The Sunrise phase closed on May 20th, and the Registry is now preparing the Landrush phase, which begins on June 6 until June 26. Domains applied for within this phase will not be assigned on a First-come-first-served basis: in case of multiple applications an auction will be held to assign the domain.

No restrictions
It is important to note that Landrush is open for anyone and there are no restrictions as to who can apply for .ME throughout this phase. The interest during Sunrise has been remarkable which lead us to believe that this will become a very popular TLD both as a catchy business marketing tool but also as a personalised web address around the world.

The Open Registration phase will be open from July 17. In this phase domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Min. 2 year registration
For both Landrush and Open Registration the minimum registration period is 2 years. The price during Landrush is 118 € plus a queue fee of 19 €.

The Registry has also reserved a list of Premium Names which will go on auction in September this year.
