On March 26th the .Asia Registry finally opened for normal operations and started accepting registrations on a First-Come-First-Served basis.

With more than half a million applications the Sunrise and Landrush phases have been a great success for the DotAsia Organization, exceeding all expectations and proving the great potential of the new Pan-Asian Top Level Domain.

Ascio's performance was also very good, in particular in the Sunrise phase, proving once more the commitment of Ascio and its partners to high-quality domain provisioning even for the most demanding customers.

In the meantime we have already started working to prepare the launch of .TEL, expected for Q3 this year, and we will provide more details in the next issue of this newsletter.
