The "Account Overview" tool gives a full overview of all transactions to date performed by a partner. The information can be investigated at a number of levels:
Statement
Invoice
Product
Transaction
Domain history
The tool also comprises a full portfolio search capability. The results can be filtered on a number of parameters:
Domain name
Domain handle
Top Level Domain, TLD
status (Active, Expired, Pending, Queued, Deleted)
Creation/expiry date
Filter by Domains not Invoiced, or Domains for renewal
This of course give the partner the ability to find, for example, all domains in the portfolio that are due for renewal within the coming time period. The results can be exported to, for example, MS Excel. The tool has a special function that allows price calculations. I.e. "If I were to register this set of domains (mixed transactions and TLDs), how much would it cost?". This is a very useful function for pricing to corporate customers based on their requirements.
The "AscioNIC Domain Handling" tool allows the partner access to all of the essential functions required to manage the domains in the portfolio. The high level functions are as follows:
The AscioNIC Order Tracking" tool enables the partners to follow the progress of a domain on which an action has been requested. Domain(s) in the portfolio can be found through various search criteria:
By domain name
By order status:
Received, Completed, Failed
Pending Documentation, NIC Processing, NIC Document Approval
All Order status
All domains pending particular actions (product requests) can be found, Product Request Types can be:
Of course these requests can be filtered by specific dates or date limits. This allows the partner to find, for example, all domains pending deletion during a certain month.
The "AscioNIC Domain Transfer" tool allows a partner to easily create transfer orders to be processed by the AscioNIC system. Individual or multiple domains with mixed TLDs can be entered simultaneously into a very simple five step process:
Enter domain(s) - these can be imported 'en masse'
Review - any domains that are not in the partner portfolio, or are not supported are flagged
Enter Authorisation Codes for .biz & .info (.org) domains (codes available from the authorisation tool)
Add Comments - these will be entered into a field on the template
The "AscioNIC Get Authorisation Code" tool enable partners to retrieve the transfer authorisation codes for single or multiple domains from mixed TLDs simultaneously. Transfers of BIZ/INFO/NAME/US/ORG Domain Names are not possible without these codes. These codes can be used directly with the Transfer tool. Only codes from the partners own portfolio may be retrieved.
The "AscioNIC IDN Conversion tool" facilitates Puny encoding of Unicode characters. This function is necessary to convert domain names carrying special characters into the appropriate code for entry into the registration templates for Internationalised Domain Name registrations of .COM and .NET.
Single or multiple domains can be converted simultaneously for both .COM and .NET. There is also an API available to partners to allow them to use this functionality on their own sites.
This tool is available to all: click here to run the tool.
The "Availability Quality Check" shows whether a registry is live, and can provide the requested look-ups with the expected quality. This tool indicates which information source can be accessed by the Availability Check. This indicates the quality of the result from the product:
Four quality levels
Speed = Look up available on cached zone data
Smart = Speed check if cache is fresh – otherwise NS look-up
Smart-Live = Speed check or NS look-up or live check
The "AscioDNS" tool is a DNS hosting solution integrated with the AscioNIC domain registration engine. Access to management of the ZONE is controlled by a user-friendly web-based management interface which supports the following functions:
DNS management
Mail forwarding
Mail hosting
URL Forwarding
